CEO Message

Since establishing this company, we have ventured into many new businesses beyond our existing framework. We have experienced various start-ups but also withdrawals, which meant that we have continuously gone through trial and error processes to improve the precision of our business operations. In 2022, we reached a turning point in which we had to drastically reform our management structure. It was when I began questioning the purpose of “work” myself.

“What do I want to be in my future life as an individual before considering myself the representative of this company?”
After thoroughly thinking through this question, I could clearly come up with what I wanted to do with DAOBASE in the future (what I wanted to do with everyone), and I formulated a purpose so everyone could work towards the same objective. We have updated our mission, vision, values, and isms accordingly. We want to provide an environment and projects that allow us to grow together with all the people involved in our company and to create a community in a society where people can experience a rich life and the joy of working.

In addition, individuals and companies are diversifying their ways of working with the spread of side jobs, remote work, freelancing, and companies operating from regional bases. This trend is expected to accelerate. We will do our utmost to “create work values” matching these new perspectives and “change the way of ‘work'” for the new era.

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture on June 24, 1982. Was in the youth team of Sanfrecce Hiroshima. After graduating from Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Kanagawa University, joined the ad network management company launched by members of Former Value Click Japan in 2005. Was responsible for analysis, general operation of the distribution log from retargeting design. Became a top salesman within the company.

Established s1o Inc. in 2007. After overseeing the board of director and advertisement business, in 2011 became President and Representative Director of s1o Interactive Inc. As Japan’s first business support-focused trading desk, we assume the functions of a trading desk for advertisers, advertising agencies, media, and other parties. In 2012, we became a wholly owned subsidiary of OPT Holdings (currently Digital Holdings Inc.), a company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Since then, we have focused on cultivating executive human resources, including building a unique curriculum to train “marketing traders” to develop human resources who can thrive in a programmatic environment.

In March 2016, he resigned as the company’s president and founded FiveHangouts Inc. (currently DAOBASE Inc.) in April of the same year. He specializes in digital marketing and has supported numerous projects.
